A Styled Shoot at Colorado Springs’ Newest Historic Venue
There are styled shoots… and then there are moments that feel like stepping into a piece of Colorado Springs history. This one was absolutely the latter.
We had the immense honor of participating in a styled shoot at the soon-to-open The Estate on Elm, a breathtaking Spanish Colonial–style mansion tucked away in the Broadmoor area. With its old-world charm, flowing fountains, and storied past, this venue is already shaping up to be one of the most sought-after wedding locations in Colorado Springs when it opens in summer 2026.
A Ceremony Steeped in History
One of the most magical details of the day was our ceremony location: the backyard fountain. This isn’t just any fountain—this piece of history once sat at The Broadmoor before being relocated to the estate years ago. Framed by lush greenery and the mansion’s Spanish Colonial architecture, it created an effortlessly romantic backdrop that felt both intimate and grand.
The entire vision leaned into soft summer pastels, letting the historic architecture shine while adding a fresh, elegant layer of modern romance.
Thoughtful Design Meets Timeless Rentals
Planning and design were flawlessly executed by the one and only Marigold Events, with Jenna bringing a vision that felt refined, joyful, and completely at home within the estate’s walls.
Our rentals were curated to complement the mansion’s character while elevating each space throughout the day:
- Wendy Chairs lined the garden ceremony for a clean, classic look
- Our signature wood tables filled the garden sunroom for an airy reception setting
- Lounge vignettes styled throughout cocktail hour, the bridal suite, and groom suite
- Candle décor for warmth and softness
- LIV Bars paired with our Amara gold shelf bar backing for a luxe bar moment
- A cake table, styled details, and so many thoughtful touches that tied everything together
The result was elegant, charming, and inviting—exactly the kind of atmosphere couples dream of for a timeless estate wedding.
Pedals, Puppies & Pure Joy ?
One of our absolute favorite parts of the day? Having Plus the Pups on site taking care of the most beautiful golden retrievers. Watching these sweet pups wander the grounds (and steal hearts) brought so much joy and personality to the shoot. Truly a reminder that weddings—and styled shoots—are better with dogs.
