A Styled Shoot Focused on Connection & Modern Design
This past fall, we had the pleasure of being part of a beautifully intentional styled shoot at the iconic in Boulder, Colorado. Set on a crisp autumn day with golden leaves and soft mountain light, this shoot was all about intimacy, warmth, and creating space for people to truly connect.
Planned and designed by the ever-talented Jenna of Marigold Events, the vision centered on a small dinner gathering—modern, elevated, and deeply inviting. A reminder that at the heart of any event, what we’re really creating is a place for people to come together.

A Table Designed for Conversation
Rather than traditional uniform seating, the design intentionally mixed barrel chairs and sofas around the dinner table. This layered approach created a relaxed yet refined environment—encouraging guests to linger, lean in, and connect. It felt less like a formal reception and more like an unforgettable dinner party among friends.
The tabletop design was rich with texture and thoughtful details:
- Ryland dinner plates paired with Rommee appetizer plates
- Wilma tortoise flatware for a warm, organic contrast
- Chessie water goblets and Chessie wine glasses
- Emersyn amber glass and Jepsen ribbed coupe glasses for depth and glow
- Bella wooden taper holders styled with Anna taper sleeves
Every element worked together to create a table that felt curated but not precious—elevated without losing its sense of ease.
Lounge Moments with Depth & Warmth
To complement the intimate dinner setting, we layered in lounge moments that felt cozy, modern, and perfect for conversation:
- Hallie green velvet chairs added richness and softness
- Cade sofas anchored the space
- A custom lounge set featuring:
- Niko tan velvet settee
- Augusta sage green bench
- Cecily wooden chair
- Kylen fluted side table
- Branson fluted coffee table
- Niko tan velvet settee
Finishing the scene was our Allegra wooden bar, grounding the design with warmth and a timeless silhouette—perfectly at home against the fall backdrop of the St. Julien.
A Fall Day to Remember
Between the thoughtful design, autumn light, and intentional gathering concept, this shoot felt deeply aligned with why we love what we do. Events like this remind us that great design isn’t just about how things look—it’s about how they make people feel.
